We took a simple ¾ guest bath and converted it into a classy little john. First this bath was completed gutted out and down to the wall studs then damaged framing was repaired. We lengthened the bath by eliminating an old closet to make room for a full length seated fiberglass shower unit. The linoleum flooring was replaced with marble flooring, the old plywood vanity was replaced with a new modern laminated unit. The bath had just a single center ceiling light, which was removed, and new recessed lighting plus a medium volume exhaust fan.
The vanity was fit up with a new granite top and back splash and a new center wall light. All the electrical was updated to include all new plumbing as well.
Here are some of the specifications…
⦁ Kohler Elongated Toilet
⦁ Sterling 60’ Seated Shower
⦁ Marble Tile
⦁ Granite Top
⦁ Porcelain Under Mount Sink
⦁ Recessed Lighting
⦁ Delta Bath Faucet
⦁ NuTone Bath Exhaust Fan
For a small simple bath the transformation was incredible and looking at these simple photographs just doesn’t give you the feel of the new space. With the new larger space and white fixtures the old cramp feeling that you had with the old bath is totally gone. It really doesn’t take much doing to change an old bathroom or kitchen space into a new stylish and beautifully functional space.
